I have..and the only XCR 800 I haven't owned was a 2003, actually did have a 2003 for a few days but sold it shortly after I bought it.

Aggressive chassis are heavy pigs! Wedge chassis or Gen 2 chassis is the way to go for speed. Shoulda kept my Gen 2 XC500SP.

X2 on avoiding the aggressive chassis. I've owned a few of them powered by various engines. They just didn't do what the rider told them to do. I did manage to make money on every one of them though!

I always thought the aggressive chassis and wedge were the same with different styling?

I had an opportunity when i just bought my rmk 6 to trade for a wedge chassis with a 800 triple modded by iantomassi out of ontario.

Had i know how things would have gone i would have.that things a missle.

I rode a few different poo's with the aggressive chassis, they ride much better on groomed trails than their other extra 10 counterparts, plus have a great headlight for night riding. The are heavy though.

yep.so gen 2 is just plain better.good enough.

i just see alot more of the 99 version going alot cheaper then the 00-03's, noticeably cheaper.i guess thats why.

I rode my buddies 00 mach1 700 triple compared to my 00 gen2 600 ves. The handling difference was huge, yeah the ski-doo rode better on groomed trails, but you couldn't run the speeds in the twisties like the xc without crashing. You could feel the weight of the hefty ski-doo. Even the power delivery on the mach1 was soft, it wasn't as responsive as the polaris xc and the mach1 was suppose to have the hottest clutch kit sold by those ski-doo guru's at the time.
