yeah I understand rider forward sleds are better over the bumps etc no debating that.

what I don't get is why so many people talk like the edge sleds rode like sawhorses I just don't get. Not once have I thought any of my edges rode intolerably rough etc.I think they ride great.no complaints.Maybe im tough as fuck or something?

If your willing to take the time and expense you can make an edge ride as good as the early rider forward sleds like the iq chassis. I'm real happy with my edge, got it to where i want it.

good shocks valved correctly and a taller seat / bars works wonders. im never on groomed trails and ride lots of choppy stuff and ive never had problems keeping up with my buddies riding newer revs and polaris;s and it don't beat me to death whatsoever.

maybe if I was standing up all the time the difference would be more dramatic, but I rarely do.I prefer to sit on a sled and I like a little lower cg in the corners.no doubt the iqs better over bump for bump, but its not as dramatic as others say imo.atleast not to me.

Trails can get pretty crappy here at times, but lately since we've had such little snow to groom, they been going a great job with what snow they have to work with. Doesn't pay to have a newer sled that your lucky to use less than 6 times a season.

once I get the dragon back together and pull the parts off I want and sell it, I might still buy that blue/white xc as a back up.
