Anyone been to Leavenworth? Looking at 59er diner or 1000 trails cabins..

Yes, Leavenworth is a pretty neat town to check out, and they typically have cooler, drier snow as well. If you're going that way for the purpose of sledding, the Fish Lake and Lake Wenatchee areas are probably the closest actual sled spots with groomed trails, Sno Parks, etc. I am not familiar with the 1000 trails cabins, but I do know that the 59er Diner cabins are right across the highway (Hwy. 2) from the road to Fish Lake and Lake Wenatchee. There are a lot more trails and riding up north of Leavenworth near Chelan, but I've not been in that area before. I live on the west side of the mountains, so that's where I do most of my riding. Washington hasn't had much snow yet this year, but you can keep an eye on the snow/weather in the Lake Wenatchee area from this link:
