Well today was a nice Sunday ride. We unloaded at WyColo and rode over to Cinabar Park. The grooming from Wycolo to Rob Roy was incredible. After getting over by Rob Roy they continued to decline and become very bumpy. The snow from last week sure had settled. Not quite as deep but there is still plenty of snow and was more enjoyable to ride. Fresh powder sitting on top was about 8-12".

Rode snowy range today. The weather started off beautiful but a storm moved in and visibility diminished drastically. There is plenty of snow but lately we had some warm temperatures and again has turned cold. Snow was incredibly hard today. Soft in the trees though.

The east side of the mountain has definitely been hurt by the warm weather. Snow totals are down but still no riding in the mud yet. The backside was better than expected. Plenty of snow and more on the way. Maybe this warm week is finally over.

My post just above yours was from today (3/1) The east side is definitely low on snow but still plenty on the backside. We actually rode untouched powder on the backside even though it was only about 4 inches deep on top of the base. Our of 4 of us, no one hit anything so that tells you the base is still good. This last week we had temps up on the mountain pushing 40 degrees so riding in the morning was the key and get off the mountain by 2 or so when it became quite slushy. I personally was impressed with how the snow held up to the temps. More on the way so by the time you get here you may be plesently suprised.

Sorry about the updates this year. Kind of slacking but went up on the hill today. HOLY SHIT, there is a bunch of new snow. Didn't take the camera unfortunately but there was endless untouched powder for miles. As much as 4' in places of fresh. There are things up there that I have not seen covered ever and they are under the snow. Grooming ended April 1st so the trails are kind of taking a beating but it is well worth it. Not one mountain sled we had up there did not get stuck. Good times.

Some old timers are wondering if we will be able to ride in June!!!!!!!
