Any rider reports from that area? I've seen plenty of pics... Is the snow soft or snowcrete? Any clubs planning to fire up the groomers for the weekend?

It's snowing like crazy up there again... Winter Storm Warning in effect right now.
I went up there with a group on Saturday. We unloaded by the Elevator in Fordville (lots of room in-between there and the city park to unload and park trucks/trailers).
We tried riding the West loop out of Fordville but had to double back and follow half trails/half ditches to Lankin. The trails were missing a lot of markers and we ran into open water at a couple of river crossings so decided ditches were a safer bet.
After Lankin we rode to Park River, then Pisek and back to Fordville on the East loop. Again lots of trail markers missing in that whole area. Bring a GPS/maps. Only 1 thin plowed field to cross and overall snow cover was solid throughout.
There were a lot of sleds up by Park River riding otherwise no traffic anywhere else.
After we got back I heard that the Minto and Grafton area was groomed.
The last storm dropped 11 to 13" in the area we rode and 8" or so in Grafton and Minto up to Pembina.

Any snow reports from Park River to Walhalla area? Thinking of heading north this weekend looking for a route to ride about 120 miles.

Everything is nice and groomed up that way. You go cross country on a lot of it without any problems.

Trails weren't bad this morning! Snow was a little sparse this afternoon. Noticeably melted quite a bit. Seems to happen at 37 degrees.
