So after the warm up is there anywhere left in MN with rideable snow? I was thinking maybe International falls or Roseau mn? Any input or pictures would be great!

No one has any input at all? Roseau area traffic cameras don't look to horrible.

Looking at trails cams, not much snow anywhere, except north U.P.. Still, I'm going to Hoyt Lakes this weekend, chase some white stuff! All lodging booked around Two Harbors, so guess people are still gonna ride!

Keep in mind it the John Beargrease sled dog race this weekend.

We rode out of Walker last weekend and the trails in the woods were really good. Put on 225 miles Friday afternoon and Saturday. The access trails were a little thin ie Heartland Trail and going from the casino to get on the Paul Bunyan. They were holding a USXC Cross Country snowmobile race on some of the trails on Sunday which may have taken it's toll on the trails in the woods.

It's funny how the honey holes back in November and December became old news in the start of January as snow was everywhere.

Now that much of the snow has melted, the honey holes have all of a sudden become top secret once again.

I had 4 trips of video to edit, and I included animated trail maps with them. I may just have to pull those maps out of the videos before I post them up. I just past 1056 miles on the season after the 95 we logged on Sunday.

It's out there guys. As I told others, don't let the ditches fool you. Even though that ice you neglected on your driveway has finally melted, the trees are holding snow. The cool down is back, and many miles survived. Hitch up the sleds and drive North till you find it.

I am drawing a line across the state like Highway 34 from Detroit Lakes across to Walker and up towards Duluth. The rains didn't hammer that region North of that line as much, and the trees have held the snow better.

Cross that line and keep heading North. The clubs around TRF, Roseau, Crookston etc are all reporting good snow and grooming reports. If you don't like riding in the trees, head that direction. For me, I will stay in the woods.

Good luck!
