So... what-say-you about (Granholm 2.0) Whitmer's big announcement?

Like it or not, if everyone was quarantined for 3 weeks a month ago, we'd already be over with this. Now, it's just herding cats. It's going to take a herculean effort to put the jeannie back in the bottle. If we don't do more than Italy did, we will be in the same situation in another week or two.

I have a better idea:

This order should only be applied to the centers of growth of this virus. Mostly areas of the greatest areas of irresponsible behavior. Where would you think this is? I'll answer it for you:
Where the Governor's highest concentration of support is.

That's not a bad idea. But just like a wildfire, it only takes one wild ember to rekindle the flames. If someone from a "clean county" travels to an "infected county" well guess what, the spread continues.

That's why you do not allow embers to go everywhere they want. Especially to known fire bug areas. Watch how quickly this virus "ember" comes to an end then.

Where did it all start anyway? Who is spreading it?
The outcry from the Rats would get it all under control when it couldn't be blamed on others and manipulated for political agendas.

Don't forget, symptoms don't show up until 2 weeks after infection. I'm sure there were many infected people in this country long before they knew they had the virus.

If we would have shut down the borders and quarantined at the first sign of the outbreak, it would have been over and done with. We could have returned to normal life, but with closed borders. Too late now, we need dramatic action.

This is not a political problem, it's a scientific medical problem. If we let the doctors lead this, we'll be far further ahead. Don't forget, the doctors predicted the situation in Italy weeks before it became obvious. The doctors here are saying the same thing. They've already proven that they know what they are talking about.

Surely you jest. Do you watch the real news? These Rats are playing this thing to the hilt.

And, no, the doctors won't be allowed to guide anything that doesn't fit the Rat agenda.

Im sure that people in every county have it, or have already had it. As long as they keep testing people, the # is going to keep going up.

Perhaps I should say the problem will only be solved by trusting the scientists who actually understand the data and what it points to. Only when the politicians stand aside (regardless of what affiliation) will there be a real solution.
