We will be out early Saturday morning, to beat most of the traffic, probably have the sleds parked and cold adult beverages open by no later than 3 pm, Iím sure. How many miles we put on? Donít care. Like it was said, better than riding the couch.

I am up at my cabin in Baldwin now. Arrived last night and then it started snowing and still is. For as much as it snowed I am suprised to only see around and 1 inch so far. I am hoping the lake effect gets rolling more than they think.

I haven't rode in the lower yet this year but hey it Valantines weekend so why not spend it at the cabin with my wife? I was suprised to see on teh why in the trail was groomed and covered. Looked good except the southern most sectioned looked thin. So probaby trailer north towards Cadillac today and see how that is. Their reports look better.

Lets hope it keeps snowing. Supposed to warm up again by the end of the day Saturday. Thats why we came up a couple days early.

No, unloaded right at the Meredith Trailhead off the Meredith Grade and M18. Fur Farm is 14 miles west of me over in Harrison.

Love that area. When snow and lake effect in the lower is good that is one of the best.

Nothing against Larry's. I love stopping in for a beer or two. But if you're in that area and want to go eat somewhere go to Railside. 1000X better food than anything you'd get at Larry's.
