I hope all goes well Jimmy. Hopefully people are over the last attempt at the races here and are willing to show up. I also hope they dont cancel the day before the races claiming the resort forgot to get insurance. I wouuuuld like to be there but will have to see how work is going at that time.

Warm up stands allowed? Can a regular trail sled run in mountain class or are you limiting the mountain class to ligit geared down 144+inch factory "mountain" sleds? I ask because many times the mountain guys are 2" or more paddle and if it's cold that day it's icy underneath and a true mountain sled running a paddle track won't hook up as well as a 1.5" studded track.

Blaine great questions "warn up stands allowed?" Answer No. the crowed at this show is directly behind the start line and other racers are schaturd all over the grounds and the last thing we want to see is a track explode and ruin someones day, besides we only have so long to run this show and warming sleds at the line consumes a lot of time, so please ride her around the staging area to heat her up just before your race comes up.
"Can a regular trail sled run in mountain class". Answer Yes. It is permitted to do so according to our class set up keep in mind 2 strokes race 2 strokes and 4 strokes race 4 strokes.

IMO a sled on a warm up stand is safer than somebody braping around the pits watching their gauges not where they are going. Schuss has plenty of room to make it readable to use warm up stands in the hot pits.

Bigk 54 we understand your point, YZRP has no problem using back stands in designated areas at other events we produce shows at, but the folks we are working for are a big corporate organization that is worried Bat Sh!t about safety for the racers and fans at there ski hill so we are walking on egg shells trying to keep a smile on everyone's face, so please lets try to find a way to make this work.

Thank You

Jimmy. Just checking ?? Why the 1 3/8" Lug Height rule on stock class. All tracks that I've looked at are at 1 1/2". It seam's to me if you complied with everyone else's rules you would get more sled's. The rules already give the smaller sleds a big disadvantage in the class they have to run in. Please don't take this as I'm busting your balls. Just trying to help you get big numbers.

Let me Jimmy McHugh YZRP Promoter clear this UP. If your Snowmobile has greater than 1 3/8" track lug height it {WILL} be considered a "Mountain Class Snowmobile" witch means you will enter the Mountain Classes #14 or #15. if it is an O,E,M. tracked Snowmobile. If your Snowmobile did not come with specific 1 3/8" O,E,M. track lug height and you changed the track to something else greater than 1 3/8" then it is considered an IMPROVEMENT!!! The base line between "Trail" & "Mountain" Snowmobiles {WILL} be 1 3/8" track lug height. The start line will be frozen marbles and the hill will be ice the drag strip is 500' long so set your Snowmobile up for GRASS DRAG RACING and you will be just fine. Just look at DOC FANG's RACING they show up with GRASS DRAG sled and they (WIN) We do not want a group of trail sled racers voicing there concerns at the end of the day saying "How come they can do that and we can't" and then they never come back to race because they feel cheated. That's why back in the M,S,D,R,A. days they were smart enough to make the "TRAIL STOCK CLASS" witch meant the factory teams did not obliterate the "Trail Sled" racers drag racing dreams of fun at the drag strip on the first lap! And it worked just fine for years and we at YZRP plan to learn from there wisdom.

Thank You.
