Question Adirondack Lodge Motel in Old Forge

Anyone know how to get from the Adirondack Lodge Motel in Old Forge, by sled, to the trail?

you gotta hump along the side of 28 south (away from OF) to the railroad tracks. turn right onto the tracks and that runs you right up to north rd.

From there you can either back track to Thendara along 28 and pick up trail 6 at the RR tracks, or ride the other way on 28 towards OF which is more direct but a ways along the road and you have to ride a narrow sidewalk across a bridge I believe. I haven't been through there in several years, but I think those are your options. The staff at the motel should be able to give you some advice too, hopefully.

You will not have to cross the pain in the ass bridge. You will already be south of it.
