It is because most snowmobilers are ignorant as to how the trail system works as well as ignorant to AMA off road sound testing standards which also are more strict than standards for "On Road" bikes.

Most of the bikes that have "LOUD PIPES" would never be allowed to compete in AMA sanctioned events.

I understand and can pass a sound test at a race. I just do not get go how a HD exhaust or now a AMA sound test is having anything to do with snowmobiles.
It's not like the AMA is going to show up trail side. I have lost a few tracks over the years just because of noise so my sleds stay stock so I understand noise kills everything. Now somehow the sled guys need to be awoke to all of that before everything closes.

Just put the AMA in there as a reference that even race bikes are checked for excess noise.
It's not cool... it just shows how much of an azz some people are likely because they small dicks and feel the need to compensate for their lack of manhood.

You know the type, they always have the loudest exhaust, stereo, etc.
They are starving for attention and think people are looking at them thinking they are cool but what people are thinking is "What a Jitbag"

Even at my local circuit a kid got told that he cannot come back unless he fixes his muffler. He had basically removed the entire interior of the muffler and endcap so it was just a big 3" tip on the end of his CRF450. It was obnoxiously loud.

Iím not just talking about the town of Webb cops who are only concerned about whether or not a sled has a town of Webb pass on it but also dec has not enforcing noise laws. I wonder what has prompted the change?

How ironic the Guy with a "trail can" on his Sled is telling us they should start cracking down on motorcycles too.....

Dude worry about your modified exhaust on your Sled before you start pointing fingers at an entirely different sport.

It is in most places. Old forge was one of the last havens to allow loud exhaust. Everywhere else in NY That I ride seem to enforce it.
