Default GPS inquiry

Hey all

Just bought a 19 Renegade and was wondering if a Nuvi 550 will fit into the dash extension/gps mount. Don’t really feel like spending $700 for another GPS

There is a HCS gps Forum, perhaps your answer is there. https://www.hardcoresledder.com/foru...gps-talk-info/

These guys seem reasonable. https://netrailgps.com/shop?olsPage=products

You can fit any of the Nuvi's into that space. Go buy the RAM cradle for the specific model, and instead of putting a ball on the back, screw the two screws into the door on the glovebox extension.

I have mounted the 5" and the 7" Nuvi's in that location. The 7" is just plain obscene there, but works so damn well. It's like it was meant to be there. I did have to shim the 7" RAM cradle, as it was not offset enough to clear the indentation. But it sure looked nice once done.

Of course, you will want to install the Ski Doo 12V outlet inside the glove box for power.

Good luck!
