Looks REAL good beyond midweek next week, maybe a mix Friday . This will be a minor bump in the road.

I run on a positive note.

It looks like a brief thaw for Mon & Tues. The precip looks like a mixed event throughout. This will moisten up the trails on low-traffic days. Providing folks can stay off, when temps drops and grooming resumes the base might be fantastic.

We are still recovering from slush-bursts in some areas when folks were riding during the rain. The cold and dry snow hasn't filled some of our holes from sled traffic.

So strange reading this thread as I'm feeding the wood stove and looking at an air temp of -4 in SoVT at the moment. Suppose I'll move some firewood today and take the sleds out. Hoping this is a minor bump in the road. The snow we have on the ground now is a great based to build upon.

We are going to be starting from scratch in the Champlain Valley by the end of the week. This weather sucks!
