Where are you getting your prices from?? Out of state Vast pass is $140 early bird and $190 after dec 15. This doesnt in include $20 club dues either. This is him using his NH reg.

I pay club fees to 3 different clubs. And donate to the groomer in the areas I ride in. What's $35? A bottle of liquor? A 30 pack plus some nippers? Lunch at a choke and puke?

The fees to ride aren't something I complain about. I don't mean to sound so down on VT. It's a beautiful state, and in some ways my second home. But darn it when I read posts (mostly on FB, although I'm not a member) from Vermonters trashing "flatlanders" and folks from my home state (CT) it hurts.

I agree, because without us going up there to spend money, they would have nothing. The state is actually poorly run. The expect the tax payers to supliment for lack of work/other tax payers which is absolutely ridiculous. This is the reson my family sold all their property in Dover.9

Nothing worse than stopping to fill up your machine with fuel ($40 min x 2 sleds) buy lunch (another $40 or so) and picking up "supplies" (food, spirits) and having some woman give you "side eye".
Jesus I hate that.

In Maine it seems folks just appreciate our patronage more.
she's just giving you the "side eye" because you look mighty cute in those snow pants!

I have a place on the North end of First lake. Easier to hit ME vs VT. Would not be trailering, just riding. Getting bored with NH trails and the constant fish and game.
