i was just offered (friend of a friend thing) a 06 SaberCat and a 08 10' Clam shell for $2500

Sled has 500 miles or so. Trailer also hardly used. I am curious just to have a guest sled, but I know little about cats. My trail;er is beat so I would use the trailer and sell mine for what ever I can get.

Thoughts?

My thought buy the package. First I’d post the sled arctic crap up for 3k take whatever someone offers I’m sure you’ll get 2500 with the miles it has and time of year it is. I’d keep the trailer since you need one anyways. So basically a free trailer and your money back to keep or buy a good back up sled.

Steal! Take it. The saber is a great sled, with reverse and e start. What cc sled? The 700 has great power. Shocks are softer, so think about upgrading to snopro floats or firecat shocks. Most are going for 1700-2500 depending on mileage. Trailer is a bonus depending on year. If irs older than 05 you shouls be inspecting the axle

It is a 500. Doing some research it looks like it had e start, FI and reverse. I have not gone to look at it yet, but I am told it is in perfect condition.

My trailer is worth 750 to 1K. If I can sell the cat for 2500 I am ahead.

They tell me it is a 10'. I think mine is a 10' as well, but I never measured. When I bought my 144 it just fit.

Being a 2008 trailer that sounds like it's been sitting for going on 12 years, I would strongly consider replacing the tires before going very far.

If it has torsion style cam arms for suspension check the axles. They have a tendency to bind up from sitting and will need to be replaced if they're seized.

500 miles I would think the sled cant be hurt too bad. i dont thing you'll find too many late model sleds that are trail ready for much less than 2500 and you're getting a trailer to boot. I'd say jump on it. Who cares what brand of sled it is for that price, if you dont like it once you ride it you can sell it and get something different

All right, all of you have convinced me. Going to look this weekend.

Done nothing but bleed money this year. What is a little more.

After having the house and garage painted. Buying a automotive lift, and an 960 sqft addition to a garage for the lift that my wife things is too big already.

uggg. Anyone know a good divorce attorney.

Going to look at the package Sat. She can't tell me if it is a 10 or 12 foot trailer?

Seems the Saber has good reviews. I will see if my wife wants to ride again if I take it. Probably a deal breaker if the trailer is only a 10'
