The world would be a much better place if everyone acted like the people up there do. You'd have to look pretty hard to find someone who wouldn't help you out in a jam up there. Buddy rolled his sled late one night and broke his handlebars. Woke up a farmer at midnight and the guy let him use his welder to fix them so he could get back lol. Try waking someone up at midnight in Portland hahaha

[QUOTE=mikerider;20374526]Hi Chazac, Do you stay at the Richelieau by the Casino. If so, I am jealous. Have had lunch there several times when I used to ride out of Jonquiere.

Hi Mike,

No, we stay here

https://www.chaletsspacanada.com/

Usually, we have several people or couples with us and share the cost. We do head down to the casino for entertainment (you can go by snowmobile). The chalets are up at the ski area and right at the intersect of 4 main trails and the snow is usually superb there. There is a groomer right around there and he likes to keep his trails flat !!!

Nice Chazac, I could see where the wives might like that place.
I have never been in the Casino. Some day I have hopes of spending a night at the Richileau, I think they also call it the castle. Just eating lunch there is special.

MikeRider,

You should come up one year with the wife .... we are very chill and like to find a nice place to have a light lunch, come back to the chalet, hit the hot tub or sauna, have some apps (cheese and fruit), have a drink and then head down to La Malbaie for dinner or cook up something in the cabin and relax. A couple of times during the week we may go to the casino for some entertainment. We do loops down to Baie Saint Paul, over to Tadousac, up to La Ravage (https://www.tourisme-charlevoix.com/...du-lac-moreau/ or up to La Baie (just south of Sagueny).
