Default Light Snow/Mix Saturday 01/04/20

Good Morning HCS Sledders!

Up next is a light snow mix event for most of the state, Looks like a general 1-3" or 2-4" depending on location but not a big event on Saturday, Looking ahead into next week, Looking at a more significant system on weds that could be a significant snow maker statewide which will help out most all projects at getting the trail system fully onboard, Stay tuned for more updates........gade

Seams like we’re in a pattern where the 10 day forecast shows snow 5 days out and as it gets close to the 5th day’s forecast moves snow out another 5 days out ? I can’t count how many times it had happened this dry snow season. .ill drink to Saturday snow and fingers crossed for Wednesdays Snow .

No, There's no model right now that has it missing, I would be shocked if it did, I'm more worried about it tracking to close and changing coastal areas over to rain, Long ways to go though.

Are we still supposed to see some cold air at some point? Seems like every day gets above freezing and way to many days pushing 40. I also worry about Wednesdays storm turning wet. Hard to keep the small amount of snow around with all the warm weather. Certainly doesn't feel like January to me.

Its not looking like Jan is going to be a real arctic cold month, In fact, We may see some warmer temps after a cold next week, This winter looks to be more back loaded like the last few have been.
