Enjoying the trails! Absolutely......On Youtube!
I sit out in the cold looking through the window with a helmet on.
Every so often I throw myself on the ground to "keep it real"

to get to northern ME you have to go n of Moosehead. we had a high of 3 today with a NW wind of 20mph. sounds like the southerners are about to get taste of winter. good luck down there....

6 of us are on Madawaska lake, riding every 2 weeks for 4 days or so, just got back last Tuesday from being there 8 days, we were breaking a lot of the trails when we got the 15" , I guess this past storm we got another 12". Riding everywhere in the northwestern county will be mint, we are back on track

rode out of Wallagrass Friday thru Sunday. Ventured as far south as Fort Fairfield. Trails were in great shape everywhere we went. The few miles that weren't perfect were from traffic, not lack of snow. It's winter in the County!

Just got back in the County yesterday, and considering it was free weekend this weekend, the trails were pretty good. We started at Madawaska Lake and took 83n up to 96. 83 was crowded and a little bumpy, but no big bumps. 96 was better up through Soldier Pond. Took 73 up to Ft. Kent and it was pretty smooth. 85, 83 and 81 over to Frenchville and Madawaska were good in some areas and slightly bumpy in others. Trail 89b down to the Long Lake Country Club was very smooth. Had lunch at the Country Club. After lunch we crossed the lake over to 79 in Van Buren Cove and it was fairly rough at that point in the afternoon. We jumped on Sullivan Road which was much smoother than 79. Took it over to 83 which was getting a little rough, but not terrible for a Sunday on free weekend. We called it a day early to get ready for the game. I'm guessing that most clubs will groom now that the big weekend is over.

Another day in the County that was 80% very smooth, 20% small stutter bumps. Left Madawaska Lake and took 83N around to Caribou. Just groomed, so perfect. Took 89 over to 100 to take some guys we met to Loring for a tour. 89 was smooth on the Caribou end, but small stutter bumps on the Caswell/Loring end of 89. Went down to Fort Farfield for lunch, only to find out Boondocks is closed on Mondays. ITS 81 was about a 7-8 down that way. Fort Fairfield groomer only went half way from the Clubhouse to town and turned around for some reason. Got gas in Fort Fairfield and went back up to Limestone for lunch. Of course, the Rendezvous is closed on Mondays, and so is the little restaurant in town. Ended up stoping at Parent Store in Caswell and getting sandwiches there. Why is every restaurant in the County closed on Monday's Took the Border trail up towards Van Buren, then took club trail 81a back down to 100. Both were perfect. 100 over to 96 was all perfect. Unfortunately, Van Buren hasn't groomed their end of 105 in a few days, so that stretch down to the 83 intersection is about a 5 right now. 83 back to Madawaska Lake was still and 8 at the end of the day. Met up with Krom-2009 and 3 of his buddies. Nice bunch of guys to ride with. Nice meeting you.
