Default Backwoods GPS help

Hello Everyone,
I am looking for help from someone that may have purchased the Backwoods snowmobile trail maps and downloaded it to a Garmin GPS. I've downloaded it to my laptop, but I'm not sure exactly how/where to put it in my Garmin. What I'm looking for are step by step instructions at this point. I'm sure the Backwoods site has got great instructions for people more technologically advanced then me, but I am struggling with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a lot of trouble when I first got mine. Turned out to be a speed issue when I tried to download at home. Did it at work no problem. Their support thru this was excellent! Instructions to put it on your Garmin are here:

Installing Trail maps for Garmin using Downloaded .ZIP file | Umbagog Designs LLC

Good luck!

Random advice from amateur internet strangers or, the instruction manual.

Tough choice.

As stated, I have been having trouble using the site, or I wouldn't have asked for help from random internet strangers.

If it's like GPS trailmasters, which I just downloaded to my Garmin, you have to first download Basecamp from Garmin site. This will allow you to open the trail map file in Basecamp. Once that is done, plug in your garmin using USB to laptop and in Basecamp, there is tab to upload maps to the GPS. It's pretty easy from that point on.

Copy the downloaded file to a SD card. Put the SD card into your Garmin.

You might need to select the SD card as an input from the setup menu on the Garmin.
