They told me the same story, but ive driven 5 hours to get to cabannon before and had them tell me lies to get me there. I like to here from TOWING on hardcoresledder he lives there and always has great reports. Im hoping to head up there tomorrow for a few days but want to make sure the info they told me on the phone is true.

St Zenon did get hit with rain on Saturday but did get a lot of snow after. I rode Mont Laurier yesterday, we got 30 cm that morning. I spent the morning breaking trail and the afternoon riding fresh groomed, amazing day.

I’m heading up Friday after work. I keep a close eye on the radar this past weekend St Zenon and Northward didn’t receive much rain and ended up with a foot +. I’m making a loop over to Mekoos on Saturday and back down 63 on Sunday.

Yes they got a good amount of snow this last weekend in St-Zenon. They had some rain in saturday AM but not enought to hurt and it turned to snow in the afternoon and it last during the night and the beginning of the day Sunday.

The snow storm was too bad Sunday morning at home in Joliette for taking the road with the trailer so I had to cancel my plans of riding Sunday...

I don't know exactly how much total they got in St-Zenon but it was a good storm. From the conditions they had before with what they just got on the top + cold temperature on the forecast it can just give good conditions for the area and even better norther. From what I read the rain limit was just a bit north from St-Zénon so Repos/ Manawan/Kanawata had just snow from this last storm...

So go ahead guys and enjoy the winter

Planning a first ever trip to St Zenon. Looking for recommendations on where to stay with food so we don’t have to travel to eat. Would 150-200 mile a day loops be possible from there? Thanks for the help!!!

I would recommend staying at the Auberge Le Cabanon. It’s conveniently located for making multiple loops out of, its secure for tow rigs and sleds, clean, reasonably priced along with decent food.

Thanks for the review! Can’t wait to check it out! Is there gas nearby? How about cell service? Wi-Fi in rooms? Thanks again!
