Just thought I'd let everyone know that we have done every trail in our system since the thaw and everything is perfect, with the exception of the Quyon town trail which is a little rough. Now till it warms up or we get a little touch of snow scratchers are recommended. Was out yesterday and without scratchers it would have been iffy. The trails are super smooth and fast. So come out and enjoy. We also did another pass with the groomer to the tree lines to Ontario both to Constance Bay and the lower Arnprior tree line via Hilton Mines pump house road.

Was out on most of the PSDA trails this weekend and agree that they were in good shape except north of Ladysmith (which we already knew before we headed up that they were not good). We tried to head north past Otter Lake but turned around at Beaudoin Rd as there was no snow just sand & gravel. Its a shame that the trail between Campbell's Bay & Ladysmith is closed as it was a nice trail. Studs are also a good idea as there is a lot of ice on the road runs between Ladysmith & Otter Lake.

Nice to see that the section between the swamps in Gatineau Park was groomed.

PSDA keep up the good work as there is still lots of snow and trails should be able to stay open for a few more weeks.

I agree heading beyond Ladysmith is not good, that's why we need to get out via Low asap. The trail closure over to Campbell's Bay s a logging issue. Again most places we can come to an agreement to keep trails open as we did last year in Thorne, but that area up around Ladysmith is the most difficult area in our whole club to get rite of ways. I have never been to Ladysmith this year and don't plan on it. Only reason we keep it open is members want to go there? When I'm heading east in Quebec I'm heading to Swisha and going through the Park or running the 308 from Jim's to the Rollway. As far as grooming we always go as long as possible, hoping this year for April sledding and I don't see why not. All our groomers are in good shape and we'll be at it again this week. Noticed your post over on the Ottawa Valley trail post. I've been hitting great trails myself over there. Find north from the Prior better than south but the only really crap trail I hit so far was from rail line south of Arnprior over to Galletta and Fitzroy and Torbolton Park in Constance Bay. The rest has been quite good. The trail from White Lake to Arnprior could be a little lesss twisty but it is what it is. Ontario has come a long way from what it was.

Just thought I'd update. Out today and trails are rock hard but with the scratchers down no issues at all. Still tons of snow and if all goes the way we plan everything will be groomed by tommorrow (Sunday) morning. Now I wouldn't recommend the 311 north of Ladysmith but most everything else will be great. Didn't get as much rain her as Ottawa and south with 4-5 inches of snow we got last Wednesday still in very good shape here's some pics today at Bristol Mines heading to Quyon.

Quick update from yesterday. Ladysmith to PPJ in Shawville groomed Friday night and ahead down to the relais bldg above Quyon also groomed trails above Quyon are excellent but very hard so scratchers reconended. Here's a few pics of the PPJ and CNR trails to give you an idea.
