I'm in Headingley and would love to head out but we're swamped. Hope to get a ride report so I can enjoy vicariously though!

Yeah I was thinking that. I thought there would be more green with some of the last couple snows! Really no trails around my area are officially open yet

With finally a bit of snow I needed to get a good ride in this weekend. We did a real nice 350km loop from Falcon Lake to Woodridge to South Junction for lunch then past Moose Lake to Falcon. Trails were as good as the could possibly be with the limited snow and warm temperatures. Even with the relatively light traffic they were getting chewed up by the end of the day. There simply isnít any base. With the warm weather coming this week and no snow, the groomers are going to have a hard time this week.
We did get stopped by Conservation Officers for snowpass and registration checks which was fantastic to see.
Thanks to everyone for their hard work making the trails so good during this less than perfect snowmobile season... so far.
