Default 2005 Polaris 550 fan

A recently rebuilt a 2005 Polaris 550 fan for a friend. The PTO piston went lean and really laid down a lot of aluminum on the cylinder walls. This has cast iron sleeves so I used acid to remove the aluminum. I honed the cylinder to clean it up as well as the mag one and installed new pistons and rings. I had the base apart and wash the crank and reassembled. My question is what do or should these engines have for compression. Both sides are just at 100 psi. Seems around 20 psi low. I was able to get it started twice but when let idle down it quits and is really hard to get running again.
Appreciate any input, thanks.
