Default Rmk 700 hand guards

So I have a 2000 rmk 700 and I just bought handguards and it seems like they won’t work but do you guys know of anyway to put them on

Do you still have the factory pad over the center of the handlebars? If so, you will have to remove that, and then they will clamp on the handle bar. You will have to use something else for a bar pad and keep the wires together.

Yes exactly it won’t work I would have to cut into the tissue of the handlebars so I’m just going to return them

I used Skinz heatlocks on my xcsps. No need to wreck the bar cover. They were reasonable and cant break them.
