Default Higher seat for '06 Crossfire...

Looking for increased seat height on a 2006 Crossfire. I was told a seat from a M7 will fit. Does anyone know if this is true and is it taller than the original Crossfire seat? From the images I've seen online there appears to be 2 different seats offered on the M7 years ago. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...

What year is the M7 seat from? I had a Boss seat on one of my Crossfires and it totally changed the ergonomics. Was much more comfortable and allowed more movement by the rider as the seat top was much narrower. I would think any Cat M seat should be doable with a little ingenuity. It will really help with comfort and handling.

The seat I'm looking at is from a 2005 M7. I was hoping to find a Boss seat as the reviews I've read have been very good. I'm trying to find information on the dimensions of the M7 seat to see if it is higher than the the standard Crossfire seat. But haven't found any specs on it yet.
