Default Running UNI filters instead of OEM air box

Has anyone ran them before? 2004 F7 EFI, Any pro/ or cons? Im Setting this sled up for stock 500ft snow drag. Reason why I’m asking is the factory air box silencer is tore around flanges and I can’t find a used one, and cat doesn’t make them anymore.

I would not run a EFI with out the air box. Unless you are able to tune it. The boot between the air box and Throttle bodies is torn? I see them listed on Flebay some times and FB has a good A/C swap page.

This is what I meant by torn. I don’t think silicone is going to last

That boot is junk. Do you have any swap meets in your area?

[email protected] try this place, they're in Vermont but will ship all over the US.

Uni filters are junk, unless their enormous, their foam is too restrictive. Better to run the largest un-oiled K&N type filter possible.

Million of those sleds out there. I would suspect about every year and model 700 firecat to have the same airbox. Sounds like hd-al has you covered.
