Default LED upgrades

Hello everyone!

I'm looking to upgrade the lighting on two Arctic Cat sleds, both of which have been ridden for some time by my family, and I'd like to make it better.

The first is a battery-less 2006 Crossfire 6, and the other a 2007 F6 with electric start (sorry, I know, wrong sub-forum).

Would LEDs flicker in the Crossfire as it has no battery, or even in the F6? What bulbs are needed for high and low beam (four for each sled)? I've searched around and haven't had much luck finding them.

I'm not in the business of blinding people on the trails, so I might consider just upgrading the high beams, even if it looks silly.

Lastly, are LED light bars a better option? Provided they can be mounted properly and will function on sleds, is that a good option?

Thank you for all of your help!

Default Led lights

I just spent quite a bit of time looking for LED lights for my 05 firecat f7 EFI and the bottom line is LED are all DC voltage and my 05 is ac.You can get an LED ac to dc rectifier but I talked to someone at Sled Lites and they said the rectified voltage will go up to and beyond 30 volts. That will usually pop many led bulbs. There are a ton of leds that company’s claim will work but will not on a 05.Now on your 07 with battery that should be a dc system and there are led bulbs that will work.I am going with Brite lites xenon gas bulbs for my 05 firecat. If you want led lights you need a battery.Hope that helps.

I guess a battery is the way to go then. I didn't realize DC and AC were so different. Thanks!
