The 2006 is the best IMO. Don't believe the horseshit about the 2003 being the fastest.

I'd stay away from the 05. What's the best for speed depends on who tunes it. The 03s give the best starting point, lightest, most efficient clutches, and most all the speed records here to Canada.... you can make anything fast, but why fight it.....

seems alot are only commenting on the fastest......

Fastest is the 03. But it's not the "best"

'06 is best.

I would say 06 is the best as well just because it was most refined. They say the 03's are the fastest but you also get the low seat and lack of 4 rear idler wheels. The 05/06 seats are way better/higher.

I had an 05 F6 EFI Retro that I loved. Ran 108 on the ice with a clutch kit and pipe mod. Very fun sled.

2003 were the fastest no doubt at all. Find me a firecat any other year that did 116 mph on the gun out of the crate... You won't, weird thing is we still can't figure out what they changed in 04 to slow them down. We swapped ecu's, gearing, clutching to stock specs, and injectors with ecu. Still dogs compared to the 03's.
