Thread bump.

1 owner, 1 of 9, non-snopro. I only take it out once a year now just to remind myself of why I prefer the Procross Chassis so much over the old stuff lol. I'll never sell it though.

I can't remember the exact number, but I'm floating around 4500-4700 miles on it. As a teen, I didn't have all the time in the world to ride with hockey on the weekends, and once I was done with hockey, the sled was old enough that I didn't want to ride the snot out of it anymore. Moved onto a Crossfire 7 in 2010, and now the Procross in 2013. Basically gets a carb cleaning and a 30-50 mile run every winter now. Fresh 91 octane fuel and stabilizer, and put away.

Been trying to keep a 05 Retro F7 Carb model pristine with low miles, pull it out of retirement every 2-3 years to keep the seals lubed and enjoy the last of the old school ride.

Also had/sold the 04 Black/Flames F7 EFI. Buddy had the Orange F7, that colorscheme rocked/popped. Wish the orange on my Switchback Axys was that brighter orange.

Amazing how many Firecats are still on the trails today, while the ride is a bit "active" sure were fun sleds. Anything over 10mph I had to climb all over that 04, the 05 is much stabler, I assume due to lower center of gravity with the diamond-drive.
I love that photo of the "old" and "new" retro versions!

Here's my contribution... 03 F5 and 2012 XF.

Actually, a few years back when that photo was taken, I wrote a short story about what it was like to get back with the old girl again...
