I believe the newer sleds are more reliable not only from and engine standpoint but from a chassis standpoint a well. If we beat the 80's and 90's conventional chassis sleds like we do the new stuff they (and our backs) wouldn't have taken it. The sled manufacturers also do a great job making HP and reliability while meeting emissions standards, which is something the automotive manufacturers have struggled with particularly in diesel applications.
