Default 2006 M6 temp sensor

I am in Island Park for a couple more days and have a code 7 temp sensor blinking. The sled ran perfect all day today. I am guessing it has a broken wire and that is why it flashing the code. It has to be that or it has out of range high resistance. I don't have an ohm meter to check it. I don't have a problem riding it the way it is but do not want to burn it down. Any one have any input.
