Default EVO Gas tank?

I thought I did my research on the Evo and figured it would be a really good fit for my daughter with the upgrade kit. She's not really big enough for the full size 550 and this fits her really well. The one thing I'm really disappointed with is,it doesn't have a 10 gallon gas tank per polaris specs. I read multiple things about the gas guage being way off but no mention of the gas tank only holding around 7 gallons. I've added a Mountain Addiction gas can to solve the problem but still dissapointed...

All the specs from Polaris say it's a 10 gallon tank but it only holds 7,maybe 7.5 gallons.

can may be cooler but if advertised with a 10 gallon why doesnt it have it .. any other model would cause a up roar if it was miss advertised .. also 3 gallons of gas weighs 21 pounds which i rather have it in front in the tank vs 21 more pounds hanging of rear tunnel making suspension ride different .. ..

I definitely agree with you but there is nothing I can do about it at this point. ALL of the Polaris literature including the owners manual says it has a 10 gallon tank. If you look at the specs for 2020 it's listed the same way...

Yesterday I wanted to get to the bottom of this so I drained the tank and refilled. At 8.5 gallons the tank appeared to be full but if you go slow it will take another gallon. So I was able to get 9.5 in there total.

We rode friday and got about 10mpg going thru 3-4" of fresh wet snow on top of a hard base.

Try pushing down on the rear bumper when filling the tank.
