Yes that is the blue "loop" I was mentioning. It is a blue wire that just loops back into the white plug. I unplugged that and it did not make any difference at all when I reved the sled on the stand. The machine still maxed out at 85kph or 51 mph. Is there another wire? I'm thinking this one must not be it.

So the blue wire in the pic is the correct "chaser"? Thanks

No. Its a black wire with a blue chaser (a chaser is a thin colored strip on a different color wire).

It plugs into a brown wire. It comes out of the main harness near the steering post.

Unplug it and it disables the speed limiter.

The wire is partially covered in electrical tape so it can be a little hard to find.

So, will disconnecting the wire actually gain some mph, even with the existing throttle lever? Sounds like it, but.....

If so, how difficult is it to access the dash and access the wire / plug grouping?

Son likes the throttle lever just would oikee a littel more out of it....

It might gain a couple MPH depending on snow conditions. Changing the lever makes the biggest difference. Hood comes off with a couple of torx screws.

Thank you, so will new throttle lever actually allow more mph and carb opening even without any other charges, or do you suggest a new throttle and disconnecting the wire?

Appreciate any guidance.

I suggest the throttle and disconnecting the wire together. Just the throttle will still top at 50mph but it'll get there much quicker.

With the stock throttle lever its almost out of power at 50mph anyway.
