I think they are still pretty heavy in the front end but have been hearing positive reports on the RAS X front and rear suspension. Only other bummer on them is the 9.5 gallon tanks and short belt life. Hoping like you to see some additional incentive from Polaris and then order a 146 Assault. Thanks for the info.
The one I rode was a 137. Otherwise my review of it would have sucked. Sorry Short track guys for the short track slam. I'm just not a fan of the spin spin spin trail sleds that are useless on the deep snow days. I'm guessing the new XRS might be heavy in the front? It did keep the skis down and lay flat in the corners. I thought for a trail sled it would make a lot of strictly trail people pretty happy. It lacked the ski lifting FUN FACTOR that I love in my Polaris sleds. If railing trail was my most important feature in a sled the XRS 137 might have taken more of my attention. SORRY DOO.... YOUR STILL LACKING THE FULL RANGE OF FUN FACTOR IN MY OPINION.

But the reality is even after you would stick the $500 doo bucks in your pocket you would still be riding one ugly ass sled. Keep the faith Polaris might come through with a little sweetener.
$500 isnít enough to make me ride a ugly sled for a season.
I don't buy pretty, I buy quality from a dealer that offers me top notch world class service and thats Poo and Doo.

My local dealer said he does 90% of his snowchecks the last 3-4 days of the program so he isnt that worried yet. He did say that request for quotes are way down though.

In my opinion. I would never trade my Indy XC for any new SkiDoo. I just can't stand the Doo. I find it to be flat out boring to ride. I hate the ergonomics, my elbows feel like their beside me, my knees and legs feel too bent and cramped. Kinda like riding in the fetal position... I know the Rotax is good engine but I don't like the linear power delivery. I do like the R-motion rear skid but hate riding a boring sled (no fun factor)! Once again, that's my opinion...

So... If I was trying to financially justify a new sled, I doubt a golden ticket of any sort would tip the scales... I just can't justify a new sled period! My '19 Indy only has 2300 miles, zero issues, 2 years of warranty left and is a blast to ride! So, with all that being said, I think I'll go with the Black/red VR1 850, black tunnel, red rails. I just wish I could decide between the 129" and 137".

I have come to the conclusion that a 4 year warranty would be well worth it for me - I have a 2018 XCR 800 Switchback (only rode it one season, so far), and a 2016 Pro-S 800 Switchback as backups when I need a new motor on the snowcheck.
