Yes, history will show you how money, self interests, lobbying, etc effects both sides of the aisle. I vote republican, but I don’t have my blinders on..... aka I prefer the pork the Republicans push over the Democrats.......

I seriously doubt that. What demonrats try to sneak in is pure pork-always! What Republicans try to sneak in is generally freedoms and relaxations of controls. Do some searching and you'll find this to be true throughout history.

You should do the research, both sides will disgust you.

I posted about what gets "attached" to legislation. BOTH, ALL political parties do this. No one more than the other.

I spoke about what I found myself, here in CT, when I reviewed records at the archives in Hartford (our capitol).

I would post it, but because you are unable to do more than copy what you read in the text and it isn't something I can upload unfortunately. I just have my notes.

They all do this. Listen, I understand why I get picked apart here. I say things some don't agree with. I used to defend "my party" until I stopped REALLY being biased.

And I decided to look at everything differently. And then my poor head exploded.

I'm the first one to admit her faults. I have many. One thing I do have though is the ability to see all sides.

In my lifetime I have acted as the "referee" at work, home, with family and friends.

Being a "double Libra" (birth sign, sun and moon sign) my perception is always multi faceted. It can make "taking a side" really hard for me.

I don't like Don because I did work for him, long ago, long before he was a reality star, politician or otherwise. A total of 6 meetings, face to face. At trump tower.

I knew/know HOW he does business. Did any of you work for his organization?

And it really irks me that I get "labeled". Most of you do not know me. And I don't know you.

Someone called Chailleigh "Libby", and she posted a very funny "gun lover" video. See my point?

You and I are all in the same boat. I would rather paddle in sync with you than fight with you.

I'd love to get my hands on those 1400 pages. I could get that read in a week. Maybe sooner. But legislation reads like tax law. It's fucking ridiculous. I'd need other reference material to ascertain "meanings" because case law and other legal crap is referenced in the text.

If anyone here (and I posted this on another huge forum) can get their hands on it pm me. (I'm no brainiac, but I was pre law before I changed my major and I'm a speed reader).

I think the time has come for we, the people, to have access to any proposed legislation before the vote.

Oh ya. Generally the "docs" don't get released (accessible) until years later. All we get is anecdotal bull shit from one side or the other.

Great idea, I bet there would be a lot less pork from both sides if we could read the BS that is written into these documents.

It shouldn't surprise anyone with a brain that Pelosi is not holding a vote on the stimulus bill till tomorrow. No urgency. You folks who try to see both sides are kidding yourselves. This is all about them losing the last election and expecting to do it again. So, they'll take the country right down with them out of spite. GMAFB!

That is THEIR WAR. not ours. Both sides have to be involved. And the sooner more folks come to that conclusion the better off you and I will be.

We are all being played.

A more lamebrained opinion I've never heard. This ranks right up there with "they're all crooks". If you voted for one of them, what does that make you?

Maybe you need to experience Communism for a change.
