LOL - I agree with a lot of what he said - except the implication he is going to vote for AOC and crew and the "Green New Deal" because he believes THEY believe it??? LOL - You know AOC's own office or campaign manager or what ever you call them, out right admitted the "Green New Deal" has NOTHING to do with the environment, right?

Not sure what this has to do with trump trying to drain the swamp. You got trump exposing all the corruption in government thats built up over the years. The dems as well as some republicans involved are trying to remove him. Most of these politicians are only in washington to enrich themselves.
As for these endless wars, you have to see where trump is coming from. He takes no pleasure when consoling the family of a slain soldier, probably more so than any past president.

That guy's watching a different movie than I am.

What is this Republican platform he's talking about and where can I get my hands on a copy of that? Is that the national platform or local or what?

I think he is conflating career politicians with a political party.

I did not get that impression by his statement. Nor did many (based on comments).

That guy is a fucking moron in many levels. I actually think he's probably not a moron but a paid actor. One or the other no way around it. Tell your friend that sent it to you.

I read, "I don't want to put my thoughts in your head".

But, my ears perked up when the guy talked about 2A. The only example that I can think of is Trump or his staff urging the ATF to reclassify bump stocks, which they did (even though not too many people believe they had the authority to do so).

At the same time, the ATF staff has been increased to help process NFA applications for suppressors, short-barrelled rifles, machine guns, grenades, etc. At first, I thought this was complete bureaucratic BS, because wait times actually went up. Recently, however, wait times have gone from a year to 3 months. If only they could reclassify suppressors as a non-NFA item, that'd be awesome.

Republican congress also approved a defense authorization that included allocating surplus WW II-era M1911 pistols to the Civilian Marksmanship Program to be sold to the public in order to help promote... civilian... marksmanship... of all things. Unlike rifles which you can buy mail order, the pistols need to go through a dealer. Oh, well - you still get a real US milsurp 1911.

So, while Trump has threatened to do something, the only thing I can think of that's negative is the bump stock deal, which could end up being overturned eventually because the ATF didn't have the authority to change legislation. I don't completely trust him on 2A, but that's part of what gives him the ability to work with the political slime in DC. SO, I just hold my breath when he threatens something and hum a catchy tune until he changes his mind.
