It's really pretty amazing to watch this on both sides. It's almost as if complete idiots are making economic policy. Wait...that's EXACTLY what it is like. G'ment interfering in the free market to benefit....well, big liberal government.

So glad we got rid of our twit! You guys make sure you do the same!

Its really going to hurt everybody...the small business owner more than most.
The larger businesses will just pass along the cost.
The people who work at fast food chains will be asking why the price of a happy meal went up to $12 and its less affordable to them than it ever was in the past.
The price on every item on the shelf in a gas station will go up....etc
Unbelievable how nobody realizes this.Just another example of the person getting kicked while they are down like the whole cash for clunkers thing when they did that. The price of shitty old cars and trucks skyrocketed for years after that ....way to help out the little guy.

Minimum wage jobs are for HS kids and those who have minimal to no skills or work ethic. They're not for supporting kids. And yes it's just gonna make inflation go up faster. Leave the market alone

Every retail store and restaurant will have less staff doing more work while providing goods and services at an inflated rate.

$3.60 increase in a year and a half to (virtually) every employee in those environments. Going to cost everyone a lot of money.

Trouble is we have too many liberal teachers and professors indoctrinating these kids to get a college degree and expect big salaries when they have little or no experience in the work place. Imo their not being prepared well to start their lives.

College isn't for everyone. We need more plumbers, electricians, etc. They make good money too and they're only gonna start making more and more as the boomers keep retiring and there's less people taking over for them. I know of a few guys who can literally barely read but I'll be damned if they can't wire a house in no time.

its just a big circle. Then your 15.00/hr wont have any buying power and you will still be in the same spot. Or better yet someone with more skills/work ethic will take your 15.00/hr job and you will still be in the same spot.
