Default Skis For a Renegade Gen4

In the process of converting my renegade 850 adrenaline to a crossover sled. Already ordered the new track - Storm 150. Now looking at options on the skis. I want something with a more aggressive keel design than the pilot 5.7/6.9 and gives me the same flotation as a 6.9 off trail. I was thinking the new skidoo R2 or the C&A XCS. Wanted to hear feedback from anyone who's tried either of these options on the Renegade.

I am interested in this as well. I have a 18 backcountry and am interested in skis. I am looking for a double runner set up for the trails, but better flotation than factory.

All I can add is I’m not a fan of my Sly Dogs as much as I was with C&A. The SD are like having power steering Vs the C&A . C&A are point and go where the SD just aren’t as aggressive. My big negative with the SD are they dart bad . I’m almost at the firmest setting on my shocks which has helped some. I ran Accord 8” and I’m switching to 7.5” shapers this year to start the season see if those help.

If still looking/deciding. BRP’s DS-2 with HRP profile runners.... best I’ve had.

Ended up going with the C&A XPTs with Woody's 8" Ace bars. After researching and reading reviews, I don't think this machine needs that much flotation that the XCS would be needed. And didn't meant to give up to much of the light and playful feel the 850 has in the turns. We'll see how it goes. Hopefully soon

Rode my buds renegade with those skis and they were amazing. It was so noticable I had to ask him what skis he was using. Zero darting... I was impressed.

After trying curves, BRP R2, pilot 5.7 and 6.9ís, and BRP TS, itís by far my favorite combo on my 850... too aggressive on my 900 turbo.
