Default Scratchers on outside of skis

I bought OTTP ice storm ski mount scratchers but turns out that I cant really use them with the roller ski wheels in place on the inside off the skis. I could mount them way back on the inside but fear the paddles on the ends might smack the belly pan.

I'm wondering if they will be at all effective mounted on the outside edge rather than inside.

I've already put duraflex ones on the rails so I'm probably OK just with those unless I ride straight ice. Are the duraflex ones in the right place? Not much open real estate further forwards.

Hey. I've got the identical sled. From what I've read, you have the duraflex ones in the right spot. Just watch out they don't slap the track. Also, use eyebolts to store them when not in use. If you put them up and over the rails, you'll trash the rails. Paint comes off easily.

I have the OTTP ice storm scratchers mounted on my sled. Will be trying them this weekend. I learned a lot kind of the hard way mounting those. It says mount them so the scratcher is 2-4" below the ski, but with plastic flexure, etc. 4" quickly becomes like 2" when you tighten everything up. We can discuss it further if you'd like.

What do the eye bolts mount to?

Seems like a good idea.
