Helping a little. I'm also concerned with the 144 studs I'm running. More power and not enough hook or risk damage running to few studs with added power. I don't want to add more studs because I like the trailability I have running 144. With more power will belt life be shorter?

what stud pattern and how much penetration beyond the track lug do you have right now?
belt life on the lower power tunes is about the same as stock. the main issue we've seen on the yammie is the offset being wrong from the factory, with some even needing to machine a bit off the secondary hub to move it in

I'm using Woody's 144 pattern up the middle. 1450's x 144 in a 1.25" track. I got 4000km's out of original belt last year.

i prefer 4 per bar, all in the middle, for trail use on the turbos. no downside in trail manners.
but i think you'll be more than ok unless you were doing some racing

Thanks, I have some thinking to do. The snow isn't falling yet. I did buy a Hurricane shirt though.

Exactly. It's not something I absolutely need but want to experience the feel.

Don't ride your buddies sled when boosted or you will have the need for more power. Us guys are never satisfied.

I have the 2014 7000 and also starting to get the itch of going with a new turbo sled or putting a turbo on my sled.
