Default Which windshield to use?

Hey All,
I know the normal back and forth about comfort vs looks... but was curious to see what others that trail ride a good bit are using on their Assaults? I need to get one now that my sled arrived. The sleek/badass one that comes with it, I know is worthless. .. Especially in the UP on -15 degree day.

Also, I ordered my sled with the hand guards hoping I could find a decent mid windshield that would have clearance for them. Anyone running a mid with hand guards?

Thanks in advance for any input

Ditto the Mid mountain and rox handguards. I have heated gloves for the days that are below +5 or so. I saw a decent looking set of gauntlets on Youtube the other day, but forgot what brand they were.

Mid mountain, rox flextech handguards, MX helmet & goggles with Klim balaclava and thin Klim powercross gloves.

Rox is now selling a set of gaunlets designed to go on the backbone of the flextecs. You have to remove the handgaurd "cover" and put these on. Seems ok, but I prefer a gaunlet that closes around my hand more

I've got the deep snow mid height for regular use, and also got the extra tall smoke which is quite wide, for the really crazy cold days.

Both work fine with stock handguards.

I ditched the factory handguards, which are pretty useless, for Burandt Grizzly Gauntlets. They are awesome and highly recommended. They are easy to take off as well, and I don't use them for warm spring riding.

Useing the biggest uglyest one I could find. It's the large Titan shield. Wife hated it till she rode my 17assoult. Then she needed one for her 18 founders eddition assoult. Which I think,is the best looking sled Polaris ever built.

So, I do have. Set of Klim gauntlets ... but I did not care for the seemingly difficulty of getting to the brake lever. It seemed a little confined as far as clearance. I know also some ride with 2
Fingers on lever at all times... but I don’t. When I think of it I do, and on windy trails I do... but the “oh shit” moment a few times arose with those gauntlets.. and it was panic for a second, as I felt like the gauntlets restricted space to get my fingers over the lever.

Do the Brandt gauntlets allow easy access to the lever?

^^ Never had an issue with lever access.
