Default Assault skid removal

2017 Assault

I've pulled lots of 121" skids, but never a 144". Are there any tricks or cautions I should be aware of when it comes to the removal process?

Thanks,
Dave

Nope. Lots and lots of room to work under there. It's about as easy as it gets.

The IGX SBA skid is super easy to remove. Once you’re ready to take the skid out, put the sled on the left side, pull the skid and track out on a 45 deg angle and lift the skid out.
I also lay a 6x6 block under the backend of the track by the rear idler wheels to keep the skid straight instead Of laying it on the ground.
I’ve done my 2015 INDY and 2017 SBA so many times I can have it in and out in 55-65 minutes from start to finish.

Thank you to both of you for replying. I'm planning to pull the skid ASAP.

<update>

OutKast, your method worked flawlessly. I've never pulled a skid so quickly.
