Default Hanging Idle

So the whole season is over for me. Polaris still hasn't come out with the re-flash or work to fix the hanging idle on the 850 that some are experiencing. NO, the first re-flash does nothing for it. Snow Check about to close.

Very frustrating had mine flashed twice still the same . And after he blew a belt that tried to come through the side panel and belly pan Polaris would not come good for warranty on the belt or the body damage they blame Belt heat I said yeah no shit every time you come to a road crossing or a stop sign on the trail you have to get on the brakes while this thing try to drive ahead didn’t get me any where with them not real happy

Did Polaris have anything to say about the hanging idle itself other than NO we aren't Warrantying your belt or damage? My biggest fear is that come next year I'll be riding the same POS with the same old hanging idle. I heard from what I believe to be a pretty reliable source that Polaris is aware of the issue and was working on it. I should be patient and wait for them to figure it out. I just hope they aren't still working on the issue next season? I just rode a complete season this way and will be ripping pissed off if I start next season with the same issue.

Last I heard was there is supposed to be another flash coming
Mine also had a hiccup at 6-6200 and 7-7200rpm at trail speed if you just moved the throttle a tiny bit they couldn’t figure that out either it was just like hitting the kill switch for a split second had it to the dealer twice for this as well
Ended up cleaning the exhaust valves myself they were horribly filthy anyway problem solved also woke it up a little on the big end.my opinion is these service guys need to be trained and up to date if there going to be wrenching on these expensive toys down time is not fun on a short season and telling me every time oh we have a email into Polaris is not the answer the customer is looking for.

Let me clarify cleaning the valves fixed the hiccups not the hanging idle

IMO, this issue is due to a too lean mixture at low part throttle. I suspect this is related to TPS readings. The new TPS is not adjustable like on the 800. If this is off a little bit, the ECU won't properly meter fuel to match the actual air flow. One fix creates a new problem?
