You might want to change all 16 hose clamps to the screw style. The factory otieker type dont seem to handle the expansion and contraction of the hoses...

I saw this all weekend on my friends Gade....it seemed to boil over when he stopped the machine....just a few squirts through the overflow hose when he shut down, several times?
That's interesting, my son-in-law just helped pull one off the trail about a week ago, it had antifreeze all over he said, also said the engine was locked up, 97 miles on it. Keep us posted as to what's going on.
I helped tow out a 600 Xp that had a hose fall off and did the old sieze routine.. Other then that, the only ones I have heard of are the ones with the tank that needs replacing..
got the sled back. Hunter's ski-doo reports that it was a bad cap and wasn't sealing properly. I would guess probably similar the "bad bottle" everyone else is talking about. They replaced the cap ran it to temp 3 times and let it sit with no problem. I haven't had the chance to ride yet so no "in field" results but Kevin and the gang are rarely wrong. BTW they replaced the faulty hand warmers with the tried and true 440 racer grips instead of the factory fix. looks and feels great!!! Thanks Guys.
An antifreeze line that runs under/near the air box rubbed thru and had a pin sized hole in it leaking. Might be a problem on others I would assume....
mine was fine the first ride out ,the next three rides it was leaking then the dealer replaced the bottle ,rode it once started to leak again , waiting for the new answer the dealer still has called!

I have about 800 miles on mine and i just noticed a little antifreeze under mine. Not sure if it was the condition of the snow that might have gotten it a little warm or what but thanks for the post, i'll keep my eye on it now. Been out a couple of time since so i'm hoping nothing much to worry about!!
Mine leaked a/f from day one and after a few times to the dealer it turned out to be a cracked cylinder. Same problem with a couple of sleds at my dealer.
BRP is aware of the issue and as they deal with most issues they have first addressed it in a Dealer Bulletin. This means they are aware of it. It does not mean they are going to do anything about it with existing sleds, but most likely with newly built sleds. ( Got this off of Dootalk.com)

It reads:
"We have received a few reports of mystical coolant loss. Many times this is mistaken for overheating. We've noticed that a few coolant reservoirs tend to leak slightly around the cap. This causes some coolant loss out the overflow tube, which is mistaken for engine overheating. Most dealers tell us that once the coolant reaches a level slightly lower than the full line, it stays there. If you fill the reservoir, some coolant may leak past the cap seal and the level will return to the slightly low level again. This appears to be where the system likes to operate and can be left alone. Also because of the new thermostat and coolant routing the .engine will seem warmer than the heat exchangers at times. This is normal.
If overheating is suspected, you must determine if the engine is truly overheating. Does the overheat light come on? Is the engine extremely hot? Is the coolant circulating? If you determine that the engine is really not getting hot, simply tell your customers to let the reservoir run a little low, and keep an eye on it."

We had to fix one on the trail this weekend. This one was bigger than a pinhole. If your sitting on the sled it's on the right side of the airbox. Rubbed/Vibrated against the airbox. Another one in the group was showing signs, but wasn't through yet. Had to pull the gas tank back in order to fix it.
