With the 2012 riding season being one of the worst in history (for most, not all), how many miles have you put on this season?

Bontz, got the F lxr 1100na. It actually runs very nice and gets good gas mileage.
Suspension calibration is terrible, rides very, very stiff, and I bought it hoping for the nice ride of the Twin Spar. Burns hyfax like no tomorrow. Luxury model that didn't come with mirrors? So spent many, many hundreds $$$ having the dealer make up a wheel kit, revalving shock (still far from good), mirrors, tall windshield (standard medium shield useless in Quebec), etc., etc. Can't use reverse and I carry the sled in my pick up truck (fun trying to pull that anchor out by hand!). So two weeks ago bought a new fan cooled SkiDoo XP and am loving this sled. I put 2,800 miles on it in 11 days last week in Quebec. Probably back on a Doo 600 carb next year, SkiDoo dropped the retail price of the Sport 600 carb by $1,000 next year. $7,000 for a 2013 retail, how can you beat it!

Sounds like a bit of a :wall: on the 1100NA ... sorry to hear that Mike. I know you guys like to put on the miles, and do a good job of adding them up in a hurry, so having to spend time on making things right isn't fun. It's good to hear some non-biased guys opinions on the new iron too (good or bad) I had an opportunity to ride a buddy's 1200 Doo back in January, and I honestly could see myself owning one of those if I had issues with Polaris or my dealer. It changed my view on the four stroke engine, and performance that's for sure. And that price you're seeing on the 2013 carb is unreal ... especially knowing it's above the border!! :bc:

On a side note, I think I may have heard about some guys who would give you a run for your money on mileage  When we were out in the Black Hills last week, we were talking with some guys from Iowa. They were up in the UP a few weeks back, and they ran into a group of 4 guys on Yamahas. These sleds were LOADED with gear and gadgets. The Iowa guys struck up a conversation with the Yamaha group, and found they were traveling across the country AND BACK!! They left Oregon the week after Christmas, and rode across the country to Maine. When the Iowa guys met them in the UP they were 3/4 of the way and had 18,000 miles on the trip meter. They were hoping to be back in Oregon the last week of February or first week of March. Approximately 24K miles!!!! Unreal

Keep us posted on the season summary. I enjoy hearing what you've got to say, and I'm sure other guys would too! :bc:

675 miles right now. Would be thrilled to break the 1000 mark this year
I'm hoping we get hit with the storm they're forecasting this weekend, and heading up north on Monday night to get over 1500 miles for the season. Got my fingers crossed (for you too Rick :bc:)

Should hit 2000 by next Friday.
Nice!

2,6XX on my 800 Pro R Switch so far!
8 to 12 inches of snow in the forecast so I am hoping for two more good weeks of riding and a total well over 3,000 for the season!
I replaced one rear idler wheel bearing yesterday, seal was completely gone.
Other than that Zero problems!

I also got to try a friend's Doo 1200 GSX last week. I would be very, very happy to own one, what a nice sled!! Just way over my price range.
There are a lot of guys that do more miles than I, especially some of the Quebec riders who live in Canada. Wow can they rack up the miles. But I think they have a French forum they use in Quebec so we never hear about them.

I think I'm done ... not by choice, but by circumstances (weekends are pretty much shot in March). I ended with a hair over 1500, and some of the best riding a guy could ask for yesterday - breaking trail through almost 2 feet of fresh snow!!

A couple pics of what we awoke to yesterday

Up to 1995, going out for a few more shortly. Going to get warm next week this cold be the last ride.

Did 110 more this morning, up to 2104. Did 3 speed runs as well this morning on the road by me. Almost PERFECT conditions, plowed road, EXTREMELY HARD PACKED/ICE. Hit 111, 112, 113.
