Fox is out it's too big, at the least it's a coyote possibly a wolf, the rear quarters look big for a coyote and the tail is really bushy plus it looks like only half of it is showing.

Measure the tracks Rob, a wolf's will be about 4-3/4"L x 3-1/2"w and a coyote's will be about 2-1/2"l x 2-1/4"w.
sxviper 1+2=3 cylinders
not too many wolves in vt...

uzi.gif yep coyote to small for a wolf to big for a fox

Wovles arent actually big. It could be a wolf but as someone said not too many wovles in vt so i dont know. Theres wolves of the ass here in northern wi. It does look to big to be a coyote though.

we have a different type of coyote here in New England. multiple xbreeds between western coyote, Northern timber wolf and domestic dogs , they tend to run quoite bigger then their western counterparts. No real sightings of wolves confirmed as far as I know
