Take your favorite boneless ribs, place them in a crockpot with your favorite seasonings along with two large onions (peeled). Fill crockpot with enough water to completely submerge all the ribs and turn it on high for about 4 hours.

After the 4 hours is done (and your nose has been smelling somthing good cooking all day) drain off the water (and the onions if you hate onions) and fill the crockpot with two large containers of your favorite BBQ sauce. Cook on high temperature for another hour. Serve right from the crockpot, using the excess BBQ sauce as somthing to dip the ribs in. They should literally be fork-tender by this time!

Goes excellent with garlic mashed potatoes!

Matt, for a better taste and smell all day, use beef stock instead of water. Man, we both need to be riding rather than cooking. Next it will be the daily how to hem up the long trousers show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beefstock is a great idea! I bet, even with pork ribs, that would add some great flavor. This is another firefighter's recipe at my work, and he uses water.

That's the great thing about recipes, you can always modify them to suit your tastes better!

And I know what you're saying John about needing to ride really bad, but I LOVE a good hot meal at the end of a long day of riding. These recipes are meant to bring some filling meals to other sledders after you're done riding for the day! Bar food is for lunch IMO. A home-cooked hearty meal is for when you're done!
