I am looking for a sled now. Might sit out another year, not sure. Sold my sled to a member here before last season. I was working on an investment property all winter after work, so I am looking to jump back in, just not sure what to buy. The new prices are sky rocketing.
Below is what took up all my time. My Dad, Bro in law, and myself did 98% of the work.

Newbury,Ohio 25 miles east of Cleveland. There's lots of local clubs with trail systems. Great clubs in Thompson, Parkman, Troy, Newbury, and other nearby counties.(lots of farm land) Thank god for Lake Erie snow effect. I grew up on a Rupp, had cats, polaris, and currently own a rev. I believe that snowmobiles are like sex, none are bad, just some are better than others.......THINK SNOW

Toledo, Ohio here! Ride up in Michigan and wouldn't mind checking out NY or the Cleveland area some time. Sledding since 4yrs old, still ridding a 79' sled locally as of last year and just bought a 2006 Ski-doo Renegade 600 SDI so I'm looking forward to this winter.

Do any of you Toledo area guys belong to any local sled clubs that do events and are beneficial? I'm looking for options as my ridding buddy's wife is expecting in Feb so I might need someone to hook up with for an occasional Northern trip.

PM me if your interested and I'll try to organize something.

Ok, since this shouldn't be too hard I'll go ahead and organize this. What do you guys think about next Sat, Nov 26 at about 6pm???
I have a work xmas party on Dec 3rd and if there is snow up North and open trails, it might be hard getting people together for a Dec date, not to mention xmas parties.
WHO WOULD BE IN FOR NEXT SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 26TH AT 5 OR 6 PM?????

I will be taking a couple of trips to Michigan for certain, but I'm really looking for some day and evening rides.

Hi Walt, I'm a couple miles south of Rt 90 on 45. My parents have a small place for sale in Pymatuning. Right by the causway. I take my Son MX Racing at Pymatuning Holeshot Raceway almost every weekend. Seasons over now. I have been to North Bay area. Compared to what we ride here, Your gonna love it. I stayed at the Pine Falls Lodge, A few places I remembered hitting was the Sportman lodge, Rockeys for gas and food. Next time go I will will take a few bottles of Iso Heet. I tend to think there is a bit of water in the fuel there. I did a melt down while I was there. Burt a hole right in the middle of the piston. Parts are big$$$ there. I think I paid around $250.00 for a piston. Bob.

We ride the Greenway trail a couple of times each winter. Hit Bucks bar and grill as a pit stop for a Buffalo burger. We'll have to hook up sometime.
You must have been reading my post in the Ontario forum about North Bay. We go somewhere different each year. Ride western NY almost every weekend when the snow is good

Hey guys-
Well, I am the sorriest of sorry riders in this thread. I have a 79 Lynx with a broken track, and only ride in my small city yard with my son who has a 06 F120 that will arrive via the fat guy in the red suit in about 3 weeks.
I haven't been able to afford to buy a new sled, damn they are getting expensive to buy new....maybe by summer I can afford a big boy sled....at any rate guys,
I live in Medina, near akron, south of cleveland, and if the wind is just right, we get enough snow to enjoy a ride or two...
Just thought I would chime in and say hello, I just joined this site today, looking for a track for my 79 Lynx.
I normally hang out on Arctic Chat.com with the same screen name.

Woah!Didn't know there were that manysledders in this area.Ken hear. From North Olmsted,1/2 hr west of Cleveland.Close to you,Spaceman. How many of you all go up to Canada?Got a camp offa' the French river and do hundreds a miles of outlaw trails up there.Trail Pass is way too rich.Usually pay the $40 day pass just to contribute.Have been goin' up there the past three years at the end of February or the first week of March. My wife's got her own.Around hear we run around the Lagrange area.Couple of local bars to stop by and gone out to Wakeman to Crossroads Tavern.Lots of ditch bangin'.No groomed trails.Been wantin' to join a club and join OSSA to find locals to hook up with but don't ever seem to have the time.Looks like I might not be allowed on some of the groomed trails around here 'cause we're studded(having ta do with the French river).
Hope we can hook up :beerchug:
