Don't know if you are visiting this site quite this early in the "season". If you are, I'd appreciate a shout re: the new trail from the Monts Valins to Les Escoumins that you mentioned last year.
Hope your summer is going well

I'm here winter.spring, summer and fall Timbo. How you been this hot summer?
Trail is from the Chappelle to Les Escoumins. It is 100 miles from the Chapelle to the Complexe Hotelier Pelchant. You can't get lost. At every intersection there is a Green sign with a white number on from 1 to 9. This shows up the map of this trail. By the way, my picture is on the map. Maps were available at the Chapelle. Map has a yellow school bus on it off to the side of the trail. Lo and behold while I was going down the trail, here is a yellow school bus in the middle of nowhere. We left the HI, in Jonquiere at 7:30, stopped at the Chapelle, topped off gas tank, got gas across the road from the restaurant and was eating lunch at the restaurant
at 12 noon. Left at 1PM, stopped for gas at the Valinouet and was back at the HI at 5:30PM. Great ride, 347 miles to be exact. Thinking of doing it this year?

Hope to run into you at the HI or on the trail this winter.

We rode the trail on or annual Nov. ride last year.
Get running little traffic great senery, but it can get thin quick getting into Les Escoumins that early in the season. Just watch your fuel in case you can't get into Les Escoumins to fuel
