CALLED TWICE TO MAKE SURE THE HAD THEM, MAKE THE ALMOST 2 HR DRIVE FROM DETROIT JUST TO FIND OUT THEY DONT OR NEVER DID HAVE TRAILERS FOR $649 THEY ARE $847 DUE TO FREIGHT AND ASSEMBLY WHICH IS NOT MENTIONED ANYWHERE IN THE AD OR IN THE 2 PHONE CONVERSATIONS I HAD WITH THEM.WHEN CONFRONTED WITH THE AD GUY CHANGES HIS TUNE AND SAYS HE IS NOT INCHARGE OF ADVERTISING AND THEY ARE OUT OF THE $649 MODELS,BUT PIC IN AD IS IDENTICAL TO ALL TRAILERS ON THE LOT AND THE ARE NOT WILLING TO TRY AND HELP AT ALL.

DO NOT BUY FROM BECKS IN ST JOHNS MI THEY ARE DISHONEST PEOPLE! :banghead:

Did the ad say,"starting at $649" for the trailers. Because if it didn't have any small print in the ad itself, legally they have to sell at advertised price.

a bud of mine went down there to look at gooseneck flatbed trailers
to haul his antique gas pulling tractors with. he said they were outragous
on priceing and didn't seem to want to deal at all niether.

they are only about 45 sw of me.

I looked around for good trailers then looked for deals on trailers. I would tell you to call Tim and Kelly and Sons trailers in Carleton (sp), south of Detroit. No this not a paid advertisement, I just like the trailer they sold me and am very happy with their service. Kelly and Sons have a booth at the Novi show every year. Happy hunting and I am with you, I will never buy from Beck's.

i heard if you go to ohio or indiana, where most of the trailers are built you can get them alot cheaper than up in michigan.

As long as they had one at the time the ad was placed, it's good. But, you know, they always sell it before you get there...

Dick's company is Safe Energy trailers and he deals with United trailers (formerly United Expressline) Dicks specialty is multi sled enclosed. I purchased an enclosed 4 place a few years back and I've referred several friends who have purchased through him as well.

Dick will not be beat on price. You can't work with a better guy. Dick's also a professional top fuel drag racer so he can work with you if your looking for a car hauler or toter home as well.

That was TOM'S CYCLE in St. John, They sale the Legand trailer that is made by Becks.

There is always a fee for freight and assembly, for snowmobiles, atv, car, camper, ect. But they should have mentioned it.
They didn't try to help you, I guess that is their loss.
